DSM Opens New Office in Thailand

Looking to strengthen footprint in the market, building on an established presence of more than 30 years.

Royal DSM, a global science-based company in Nutrition, Health and Sustainable Living is opening a new office in Thailand, to strengthen its presence in the region.

Thailand is the fifth largest market for DSM in the Asia-Pacific region.

The potential in Thailand as a growth market spans across the DSM portfolio, with products, services and solutions from both the nutrition and materials’ arms of the business.

More specifically, an increase in demand for fish and fish-based products in South-East Asia has seen the region emerge to account for more than one-third of the world aquaculture production with a significant rise of the aquaculture industry in Thailand.

DSM has a well-established history in Thailand with an animal nutrition micro-nutrient plant located just outside of Bangkok, providing customised solutions for domestic clients as well as being exported to neighboring countries.

The investment committed by DSM will support sustainable growth in the industry by providing solutions that improve yields and circularity.

With the aim of deepening DSM’s connection to and in Thailand, the new office signals DSM’s intent to further develop its operations in a country where there is projected growth of more than one per cent. [APBN]
